During the night, Moscow's missile and drone strikes have led to electricity outages in large parts of the capital city, the Ukrainian capital.

Several individuals were injured while local people in the city's east were plunged into darkness and encountered interruptions to water systems, as stated by city officials.

Simultaneously, a minor was killed in a distinct aerial attack in the Zaporizhzhia area in the southeastern part, according to regional authorities.

Moscow has escalated strikes on energy facilities over the last fortnight, while Ukrainian leadership has demanded "real steps" from allies to increase pressure on Moscow.

"The necessity is not window dressing but firm measures - from the United States, European nations and the major economies - in delivering defensive weapons and enforcing restrictions," was stated in a public message.

Authorities reported that numerous aerial vehicles and over thirty projectiles struck Ukraine's energy infrastructure, labeling such strikes as "strategic and deliberate" and against "critical infrastructure" as the weather cools.

Government representatives said Moscow was "launching a major assault" and repair crews were laboring to repair systems.

Regional authorities said the metropolitan region endured heavy assaults throughout the evening. A seven-year-old child was killed and three other people were hurt.

The assaults succeed periods of aerial attacks in the territory, portions of which are currently controlled by Moscow's military.

All of Ukraine is under warning for advanced weapon attacks, which are harder to detect.

Authorities told reporters that Moscow was deliberately attempting to demolish the electrical infrastructure, with assaults already affecting fuel infrastructure.

Officials stated energy workers and government agencies were bracing for more assaults.
